Hey Lady! My name is Latoya Shanell and I am a lady boss who juggles being a wife and toddler mommy with owning multiple businesses and managing multiple brands. Last year was so challenging for all of us, but out of immense challenge comes immense growth. The preparation that many of us did last year due to the pandemic, most definitely set us up for success this year and for years to come. This time has forced us to work on projects that we’ve been meaning to complete or make progress on, review systems and processes that might not have been working great and self-assess our strengths and weaknesses. God has truly pushed me out of my comfort zone so I could focus on greater. For years my vision hasn’t been clear enough because I didn’t take the time to truly embrace it or work in it the way I should. I was focused on so many other things, for other people, that got in the way of the vision God has always had for me. SN: The same energy you put into other people’s companies should be put into yourself and your future. No company cares more about you than you. Protect yourself and always keep you first. I also, like many of us, was fearful of my true potential. While I still struggle with this, I’ve come so far and the vision became even more clear last year. Last year’s preparation laid the foundation for our success and taught us so much about resilience. This year’s summit theme is SOAR because this is your year to do exactly that!
